New Year, New You

So Betakid started Alpha Academy today.

After a six year campaign of check writing, notes on stationery writing, phone calling, string pulling and groveling, The Child has finally attended her first day of school. Mommy's a whore with a heart of gold, and she did it all for her little girl.

Today's report from BetaKid: "This was the best day of my life. This is the best school ever. I love it a thousand times around the earth."

Awwwwwww.

PS. Yes, I know, this can't last. She will have a meltdown tomorrow. Just let me enjoy it while I can, before the Ambien kicks in.

Hi Beta Mom, I couldn't find your email address here. I was wondering if you were interested in selling your domain? I'd like to start a site just for betamoms with bloggers and resources (for normal moms). I'd like to keep you on as a paid blogger. What do you think?

Hi Bunmi,

Of course you can't find our email. We can't even find our cell phones most of the time. As for your question, we think perhaps you are confusing us with Alphamoms. We don't have enough good sense to do things for money, including but not limited to, things like selling this site. We couldn't even begin to tell you why, but then, that's what meds are for. And if we could, we wouldn't be Betamoms, would we?
